Our founder, Jered Keller, grew up in central Texas joining family and friends at barbecue gatherings regularly.  BBQ Grills & More was born from Jered Keller’s passion for barbecuing, but also out of spending several years in the grilling retail industry realizing an opportunity to offer improved products, value, service and grilling experiences to serious grilling customers.
Our story is similar to the history of the Texas barbecue tradition. Jered has lived the Texas barbecue way of life and mastered all of the necessary skills to carry on the tradition that dates back to the old West when cattle drives from southern to northern Texas and migrant cotton workers dominated the Texas landscape. An important element of the cattle drive was a gathering of hungry cowboys around an open fire pit to cook and enjoy a tasty meal after a hard day at work in anticipation of another.
